Current mind Mind, as viewed in the creativity perspective, is seen as a property of consciousness which remembers what consciousness experiences and characterize what we experience based on the beliefs mind has and what it chooses to remember. In many ways mind is a lens or a filter through which our awareness views or perceives the experience we have. We believe what we perceive when in actually, we are biased by the filter or the lens. As a property of consciousness/Consciousness, there are four minds we can discuss which lie within us. The mind of the consciousness within, or behind Creation: There is the Mind that corresponds to the consciousness within, or behind, Creation. Through the illusion of Creation and as discussed in the Creation Story for the Creativity Perspective, this mind created an illusion to seemingly shatter itself into and infinite number of individual points of consciousness. As an individuated point of consciousness we are a unique aspect of this consciousness and can awake to the illusion of mind and the illusion of Creation to a full awareness of this consciousness with, or behind, Creation. The transcendental mind: Each point of consciousness is an aspect of the original consciousness. Each point of consciousness is what the consciousness within, or behind, Creation uses to experience its creation/Creation. Each point of consciousness always is, and always was, a unique aspect of the consciousness within, or behind, Creation. What dies or transform is its interpretation of who and what it is. The interpretations made by the awareness of consciousness as to who or what it is gives rise to the creation it experiences. That interpretation is based on what the awareness has experienced and choose to believe about itself. Each point of consciousness is capable of awakening to the awareness of the whole. Or, each point is capable of experiencing creation/Creation and a unique, separate, independent consciousness and a world unto itself and/or is capable of sharing a reality with another point of consciousness or even becoming a creation within an existing creation. The collections of experiences this independent point of consciousness has gives rise to a second mind. Since the collection of these experiences transcends any one experience, this mind can be called the transcendental mind. The transcendental mind is what many would call the permanent record of all our experiences we have ever had as an individual points of consciousness. The transcendental mind allows our awareness to see all that it has ever experienced. It is within this transcendental aspect of mind we can understand the intention for our life. Our current mind: As a human being, we are an independent point of consciousness which has chosen for one reason or another to have an experience as a human being in Physical Creation. Our problem as a human being is that the human physical experience causes is to think our mind is only what we have experienced in this life. Most humans will deny the existence of their transcendental mind even if they have clear memories of an existence outside our current life. Additionally, we do not always embrace all the experiences we have in our life. We interpret those experience based on what we have come to think and believe. If we do not have a context for understanding an experience, we will deny the experience as real. In any case, whatever we believe gives rise to our current mind. That is, what we think and believe as a result of the experiences we have had in our current life. Although we do not realize it because of the illusion of mind and the illusion of Creation, our true mind is really the composite of the mind of the consciousness which lies within, or behind, Creation, a transcendental mind and our current mind. However, there is a fourth mind, the enculturated mind. The enculturated mind: As a human being, most of us are not taught to embrace the truth of our being and/or to know truth within. Rather, we are taught to perceive and interpret our experience through our society and its culture. We are enculturated to think and believe one way over any other way including what is true for us and our own truth. The enculturated mind is what we have come to think and believe as a result of the interpretation of the experiences we have had based on our culture. What this means is that whatever we experience we interpret not based on the truth of our being. Rather, we interpret it based on what our culture and society says. This, in turn, often causes us to deny the truth of our own experiences as a result of how we interpret our experiences based on our culture. For practical purposes, current mind and enculturated mind can be used interchangeably. Technically, they are very different. As we begin to awaken and become aware of the depth and breadth of our being, current mind takes on a completely new meaning and we come to see how limited our enculturated mind really is. The goal in experiencing mind (Top) In reality, any individualized point of consciousness has only one mind. That is, mind is the collection of the experiences of that individual point of consciousness. However, because our consciousness can be experienced as aware and awake or asleep and unaware, we live in the illusion of mind which gives rise to experiencing a mind much less than what mind really is. From a creativity perspective, the goal is to live with a mind reflective of the individualized point of consciousness that we are. Here we become a conscious creator and the consciousness within, or behind, Creation experiencing Its Creation. We become consciousness at play. There is no reason to purse a Cosmic Consciousness as discuss in the topic, "Cosmic Consciousness." for all that does is put us back to the beginning of the "Creation Story for the Creativity Perspective," - a consciousness alone with no one with whom to play. It needs to be remembered, the masculine aspect is reflected in our thinking and symbolized by the mind and what mind wants. The feminine aspect of Creation is the flow of energy within our being and what we feel, symbolized in the heart. When we localize our awareness in the body we can feel through our body and our being. When we localize our awareness in what we think and believe, we experience some aspect of mind. If we focus on all our experiences and what we feel in those experiences we open the door to experiencing the transcendental mind and the energy which gives rise to our life. When we focus on the experiences of this life, without or without the awareness of feeling we enter our current mind. When confine ourselves to the programming given to us in this life and what our society believes we enter the enculturated mind. When We need to move from the view and perspective of the enculturated mind to what we are feeling in our bodies we open the door to move into and through our current mind and eventually into our transcendental mind. Whenever our mind choose to act rather than surrender to what is, it creates and changes and/or shifts the flow of energy created by the transcendental mind. This is not necessarily good no bad. It is just that the mind created by the creation process (our current mind or the enculturated mind) finds it very difficult to understand the process that created it. Every time it act on what it knows in some way it changes the process it is trying to observe. One way to help get around this problem is to have multiple views and see what each view provides. For example, use a variety of "not doing" experience to get out of what we currently think and believe to experience something different. Then realize what we seek gives rise to all those views and is somehow a composite of all of them From a creativity perspective, the challenge for each of us is to understand our current mind. It is to step out of the enculturated mind and come to embrace the truth that we know within. It is a mind that holds our creativity sacred and allows effectiveness to be our measure of truth or does it seek outward approval for how it thinks? Each of our minds are unique. Exactly what is in our mind is only know to us. No one can explore our mind other than us. From the creativity perspective, the recommendation is not to try and change our mind or our enculturation. Rather, it is to explore our own truth to know what is true for us as opposed to programming we received and/or what we have come to believe about Creation, our life and who we are. Then, in those discoveries, the experiences themselves will cause our mind to change to become more reflective of a mind which represents our truth. It is much faster, easier and gentler than trying to use mind to change our mind. It is not so much about us doing anything. It is about allowing ourselves to become who and what we really are and to live our truth. We know we are living our truth when we find ourselves with a fullness of being, and inner satisfaction which never runs dry and/or a fullness of life and desire to engage life. Our work is to deal with the response patterns we developed that holds our creativity captive in the cage of our own making as we identify were we are not living our truth. How we address what we find is our choice. We can work them one at a time as they surface to be addressed. We only need to keep focused on living our truth. A reason to step out of or current mind whatever its form (Top) Our body and its environment of birth, both in time and place is the product of our transcendent ego and that state of our being at the time of incarnation. These conditions existed before we formed any enculturated ego and developed an idea about who we think we are in this life based on our current life experiences. When we return to that state of being, we access the most powerful creative state we can enter in our life and it is to live the intention for our incarnating. Once we are aligned with that intention, we then have the choice of living that intention, changing that intention or going further back into our programming and transcend that intention if we begin to shed the transcendent ego which created the intention for our life. It is at this point of being we access our unlimited creativity for we stand at the point to create any reality we wish while in our body. What needs to be understood is that each lifetime offers us the potential to step into our unlimited creativity. To come into the physical Creation to have a physical experience requires us to forget who we think we are and who we may have been and all the experiences that go with those beliefs. If we are allowed to just be, following what is symbolized in our heart, developing an awareness of life and Creation from the heart space, and awaken from this heart space, we would consciously become the beings of unlimited creativity that we are. However, life itself causes us to focus outward and define ourselves from the experience we have. In a very short time we start pulling together an understanding of who we think we are by the experiences we have had and all our experiences, even those we have before this current life, begin to create our reality. Hence we become trapped in the past and the proverbial wheel of karma begins to dominate our life. In understanding this process we can transcend the process at any point and being to creative the reality of our choice. We only need to choose to do so and become open to feeling to know what serves and doesn’t serve our being.
