An overview
of some items in the creation process
(Top)
Creation is ultimately about the
focus of one’s attention and awareness to direct one’s creative life
energy into a specific outcome. Paradoxically, the mind needs to
hold focus to create what it desires and then get out of the way and
surrender to the flow of energy it creates for the creation to
unfold. It is ultimately a dance between the heart and mind.
It must be remembered mind only knows the past. It cannot take you
into the unknown toward your objective for it does not know which
way to go. The fastest and easiest way to create, but not
necessarily the gentlest way, is to align with the flow of energy
that is flowing to manifest one’s desired creation. Energy follows
the path of least resistence so alignment with that energy follows
the path of least resistance. To create the gentlest way, the heart
must be allowed to intend the direction of travel through alignment
with the flow of energy. Mind must then be present to the moment and
attend to the details to make that past safe and gentle.
Creation requires us to focus our attention and awareness and then
to surrender to the flow it creates. The autopilot like features of
the subconscious are ideal for this task. Hence most of our creative
go on at a subconscious level we below the continual fluctuations
and seemingly randomness of our thoughts.
A
creative state of being
(Top)
A creative state of being is mind,
consciously or subconsciously, holding a thought, memory, idea,
image or anything mind can conceive in such a way that it directs
one’s creative life energy into creating it or an experience of it.
That is, we hold it with some passion or desire to create it. We
hold many thoughts, memories, ideas and the like. Some hold a great
energy. Some significantly divert our creative energy. Others are
inconsequential. When the subconscious holds these memories,
thoughts, and ideas, with passion and/or a desire to create it
functions as an autopilot and directs our creative energy into that
thought, memory or idea without our conscious awareness. As such we
are always in a creative state as long as we have an attachment to
anything. The nature of mind causes us to create for it hold
memories and most of those memories carry a judgement of which were
enjoyable and not enjoyable. Many of those judgements acts as
desires that pull or push us away from certain things in life.
Hence, we cannot not create. We will always create. We already are
creating. The question is are we creating consciously or
subconsciously.
The most
powerful creative state
(Top)
We create consciously and
subconsciously. The most powerful creative state of being is where
we align the most powerful subconscious creative state and the most
powerful conscious creative state into the same creative endeavor.
Both of these states are discussed below. We can do this by holding
the same clear conscious and subconscious intention and then allow
ourselves to enter the state of spontaneous and innocent childlike
play.
No matter how you look at creating, play is the key to the most
powerful creative state. The best description and representation of
this creative play state is the spontaneous and innocent childlike
play of a very young child in the exploration and discovery of
itself and its world at each and every level of its being before
mind steps in with it judgements and expectations. In this state,
the child’s motives are pure for it has no motive other than to
explore and discover its world however it can wherever it lives. In
addition to the most creative state this state leads to a calmness
within one’s being and an
inner satisfaction which can be
characterized as bliss or joy, that never runs dry no matter what is
happen in the external world. To enter this state we must become
childlike, not childish. We must become spontaneous and innocent in
our exploration of the truth about what we face to discover the path
we seek for our creative endeavor. It is about surrendering to the
flow of energy giving rise to the experience we are having and
allowing it to lead and carry us where it may. In a spontaneous and
innocent childlike exploration nothing is sacred. Anything and
everything can be challenged and there is no malicious and/or self
serving desires in what is challenged. The challenge is simply to
understand the truth of what is.
We are born into this state of being. We all have been there and we
all know what it feels like to experience this type and kind of
play. We will remember the feeling when we come close to reentering
this state. The ability to enter and be in this state of spontaneous
and innocent childlike play is inherent within our being. Yet, for
one reason or another we shutdown, or turns off, this ability to
play when the free flow and free expression of our
creativity/creative play is thwarted.
As a very young child we learn ways to protect our creative spirit
and our creative ability that in the end, become a cage of our own
making. It is not that we are wrong in how we move as a child to
protect our creative spirit and avoid the pain we experience when
its creativity is thwarted. The problem is that we protect it with a
child’s understanding and not with the wisdom of a mature creator
who understands the creative processes and the
gift inherent in
pain. Fortunately, as we move closer to this state we remember the
reason why we lost the ability to be in this state and can resurrect
the ability to freely and readily enter this state. However we will
have to face and process the pain and reasons why we shut this
ability down.
As an adult in a mature body, it becomes increasingly difficult to
reenter this state of play because of sexuality. Although there are
several other significant reasons, sexuality is usually the most
significant block to entering this state of play. Most are unable to
freely and spontaneous explore sexuality in the spontaneity and
innocence of childlike play to discover and explore what is true for
ourselves and for others unique beings. Most have accumulated so
much baggage and expectations about sexuality from those in our life
that we are unable to get past the judgements and expectation of
mind. This in turn, keeps one out of the most creative state they
can enter. So most only enter the second most powerful subconscious
creative state, that of sexuality. Unfortunately, whether they
create consciously or subconsciously, they enter it with all the
baggage that they carry about sexuality and embed the baggage in
their creation.
To enter the most powerful creative state we need to hold the same
clear conscious and subconscious intention. To do this we will find
it necessary that we must surrender to the
intention for our life
and to consciously choose to allow it to lead our life as a single
point focus. This is the only way, at least initially, to align
one’s conscious and subconscious intentions. The reason for this is
the intention for our life is already subconsciously creating many
of the experience we have. Hence, to access the most creative power
that is available to us, we need to access and align with this
intention. Then once we understand what power we have, what we do
with this power is another question.
Our problem here is that our mind had its ideas of what it wants it
life. So mind finds it very difficult to surrender to something it
does not understand. The intention for our life existed before our
current mind became aware of itself. So it has no way of directly
knowing what is pulling it through life. In essence, it must get the
pieces of a puzzle and seek to gain that
minimum set of experience
that will reveal the intention behind one’s life. To become aware of
the intention for one’s life , the awareness of mind must be willing
to step out of what it think and believes about itself to become a
detached witness.
The awareness of mind must become a detached witness to observe
three things. One is to observe what is currently being experienced
and to
pull the string as to why this experience as opposed to any
other.
The second thing the awareness of mind must do is explore the
experiences one has had in their life to look for two things. One is
to look at the past to look what experiences in their past gave them
a feeling of fulness of being, and/or a feeling of being full of
life, and/or caused them to what more of life. The other thing the
awareness of mind must do is to explore the past to see what is
being communicated about the creative spirit within oneself. It
should be realized that
creativity is the language of consciousness.
The life that we create,
especially the pain which we have
experienced in life, is a communication from our creative spirit
about itself and what it desires. Unless we look at the life that
has, and is, being lived as a communication, we will not understand
this creative spirit and be able to fully access the creative powers
inherent within this spirit. Creating a life map or telling and
recording
the story of our life can be uses to help being and
structure this exploration of the past.
The third thing the awareness of mind must do is become aware of
what it feels. It must become aware of what it feel is giving life
and allowing one to grow and expand into the fulness of life and
what causes one to shutdown and withdrawal from life.
So, until one learns how to reenter the creative state of play
described above and access the intention for their life they will
create with potentially competing subconscious and conscious
methods.
The
easiest way to create (Top)
Before moving on to describe the
more powerful subconscious and conscious creative states, it needs
to be pointed out that the easiest way to create is subconsciously.
It is the way most of us do our creative efforts. Conscious
awareness is continually distracted by the needs and demands of the
mundane world and what the mind thinks is important and/or relevant.
Conscious creating require a passion, strength of will and the
ability to hold a single point focus. To get control over what we
wish to create in our life, we will have to surface many of the
subconscious intention that are ruling and directing our life. We
can surface those previously programmed intentions by observing our
life as that detached witness described above and become very
mindful and aware in two ways. One is to become very mindful and
aware of what one thinks and believes and why they think and believe
the way they do. The other is to become mindful and aware of what we
feel and why we feel what we do. Then we can
reprogram the past to lead in the direction we choose and our life become
much easier.
Subconscious creative states
(Top)
Most powerful subconscious
creative state (Top):
Most powerful subconscious creative state of being is to unknowingly
step out of mind and to be spontaneous and innocent to playfully
explore and discover oneself and one’s world where we are free to
fully engage every level of their being including our sexuality and
allow the flow of energy to lead one’s efforts. It is being free to
flow with the flow of our creative life energy wherever it leads.
This most creative state includes to playfully discover and explore
what we think and believe about ourselves, the situation we face,
and the environment which gives rise to the situation we face at
whatever level of being we need to be free to explore - whether it
be physical, spiritual, emotional or mental - without the judgement
and imposition of mind and what we think and believe.
The second most
powerful subconscious creative state
(Top):
The second most powerful subconscious creative state is sexuality:
It is to engage in sexuality and/or move toward sexual intercourse
without clear intention and/or motives as to why you are engaging in
sexuality. If you do it with the motivation only for the fun of it
or the enjoyment you get from it, you risk developing an addition
for most probably there is something your masking from which you are
trying to escape. If you do it only from a biological urge without
an awareness of what happens energetically in sexuality, you become
bound to the physical. If you do it only with the social
obligations, you create slavery for your creative spirit. This is
why so many spiritual traditions encourage celibacy. It is easier
just to not engage in sex than deal with the truth of it. Yet, if
you do not face the truth of it, you will never consciously access
the creative power inherent in within it. The reason for sexuality
being the second most powerful creative state is a result of the
conditions sexuality creates. The
creative conditions created by
sexuality are discussed in the file of the same name.
The third most
powerful subconscious creative state
(Top):
The third most powerful subconscious creative state is have a
subconscious programmed desire that essentially becomes a single
point focus for one’s life without any real conscious choice on the
part of the individual. Many of our ideas of success or what we need
to accomplish in life we adopt because of the world in which we grew
up. Although we may make conscious choices to manifest the desire,
we don’t really know the origins of the desire and the desire is not
necessarily providing a sense of fulfillment and/or meeting what we
really would like to do with our life. Many of the ideas of success
individuals possess are programmed desires and do not flow from the
intention for their life.
Conscious
creative states (Top)
The
most powerful conscious
creative state (Top):
The most powerful conscious creative state is to step out of mind
with conscious clear intention to enter a state of spontaneous and
innocent childlike play of discovery and exploration of oneself and
ones world as described above. Entering this state is controlled by
how free one allows themselves to be at each and every level of
their being. What keeps us from using this state of being is simply
one’s own mind and what we think and believe.
Our mind and its judgements do not really allow itself to playfully
discover and explore what we think and believe about ourselves, the
situation we face, and the environment which gives rise to the
situation we face at whatever level of being we need to be free to
explore. To playfully discover and explore what we think and believe
about ourselves, the situation we face, and the environment is to
ask mind to destroy itself. Mind is what we think and believe. To
explore what we think and believe is to take apart the very
structure that is doing the explorations. Hence the need to become
that detached witness that stands apart from mind or to just create
subconsciously. It is much easier to create subconsciously because
mind is not faced with challenging itself.
If one desires to enter the most powerful conscious creative state
as an adult, they will have to face three things. The first and most
significant issue one will face are the reasons why they shutdown
their ability to freely enter this state in the first place We were
all born into this state of being. Most of us developed response
patterns to life that shutdown some, if not almost all, of our
creative power and ability. Many have had their creativity
metaphorically neutered and castrated by their society. In essence
one will have to do what is necessary to resurrect their creative
power. Exactly what you need to do depends on how and why you shut
that ability down. What you need to do will be unique to you. You
will need to rely on your own internal guidance to guide you. You
may have someone to advise you or someone to hold you accountable to
your journey and what you wish to create, but you will have to be
your own guide. No one can do it for you.
The second thing one will need to face is their concept of the
Creative Power of Creation that lies outside themselves and their
relationship with that Creative Power. Many see this Creative Power
of Creation embodied or somehow encompassed by their concept of God.
Hence, many will have to revisit their concept and beliefs about God
if they are going to consciously reenter this most creative state.
Quite simply, to enter this state you will need to be free to
spontaneously and innocently discover and explore both the internal
and external Creative Power of Creation where they lies and in
whatever form they appear to you based on your own experience.
What needs to be understood is that you are a unique creation. How
the Creative Power of Creation appear to you may be similar to, or
different from, another’s experience. There will be common
experiences. There will be different experiences. Nevertheless what
you experience will be unique to you. You should be free to explore
and challenge another’s view for application in your own life based
on your own experience no matter who that other is and no matter
what actual, or perceived, credentials they may have. Within the
framework of your uniqueness, the Creative Power of Creation can
work for you just as effectively and powerfully as any other
individual. But you will need to develop your own relationship with
them to access them.
The third thing is many will have to face their sexuality as to what
it really means and how they use it. If we truly desire to
understand the depth and breadth of our creative power, somewhere,
at some time, we will have to give ourselves permission to freely
and spontaneous explore sexuality in the spontaneity and innocence
of childlike play to discover and explore what is true for them as a
unique being. For most, this is more difficult than facing their God
and what the external Creative Powers of Creation looks like for
them. But facing our sexuality is not about consciously electing to
go and explore sexuality. It needs to be understood that sexuality
will arise quite naturally at the appropriate time as you pursue
your journey to return to that most creative state. It is at that
time you need to be free to explore it for at that point it is part
of your journey.
The second most powerful
conscious creative state
(Top):
The second most powerful conscious creative state is again
sexuality. Why this is true is discussed under the topic “Creative
Conditions Created by Sexuality.” To use it as the second most
powerful conscious creative state, it is to walk into a relationship
that moves toward sexual intercourse with a clear intention to
create life what will manifest as an offspring. Not an offspring
that is necessarily a physical offspring but, rather, an energetic
offspring creative that they energy of two individual coming
together. The offspring always exists. The question is whether or
not you are willing to accept it and nurture it for it is your
creation. As for using sexuality, it does not really matter what the
intention is, but it needs to be clear. Although there is a more
powerful creativity state, for most individuals, sexuality is the
most powerful creative state they will enter in life. However most
will use it subconsciously and never begin to realize how it can be
used consciously. In fact, most never move past the sex and binding
themselves to the sex and/or to think they are their body.
What is missing when most engage sexually is the ability to be in
spontaneous and innocent play at every level of one’s being As
stated with using sex subconsciously, most carry too much baggage
about sexuality and they are too unaware of the baggage they carry.
Unfortunately, that baggage gets embedded within the life that is
created from sexuality.
The more one can be free to spontaneously and innocently play at
each and every level of their being the more they move toward that
most creative state. In the realization that
sexuality takes one to
the source/Source of life, properly used, sexuality can be the
fastest way to restore one’s ability to enter the most creative
state.
The third most powerful
conscious creative state
(Top):
The third most powerful conscious creative state is to utilize a
clear intention with a
single point focus for one’s life. It is to
make one’s whole life a conscious meditation where each decision is
at least considered as to how it will or will not help manifest what
one desires to create. To do this one must become very mindful and
awareness of all that they think, say and do and the memories they
hold which do or do not support what they desire to create. A
version of this third most powerful conscious creative state is used
in meditation, yoga, martial arts and other similar disciplines to
achieve a particular end.
Meditation concepts and principles for
creativity to use this third most powerful conscious creative state
