Shared realities The basic essentials and concepts supporting the concept of shared realities are found in the topic, "The basic essentials and "physics" of: A world unto our self, World of the other, World of Om, Shared Realities, Creation within Creation." It is recommended this file be reviewed before preceding. However, the key points are as follows: Each individuated consciousness is independent and a separate reality. No one will experience a situation or event like we do even if they are right there with us sharing the event. That is what it means to be unique. The only truth of which we can be certain is our truth. That is, what we ourselves feel, experience and understand. It is the truth that, we ourselves, have experienced. Remembering that a consciousness defines itself by the experience it has and consciousness awaken consciousness, one can use its creativity to figure out how to communicate and share itself to another such that two independent points of consciousness literally live in, and share, the same reality. In essence, any consciousness has four primary ways to experience reality summarized here and discussed in the topic, "Four ways we experience creation/Creation, any creation/Creation." (1) Live in our own isolated world protecting and defending the truth that we know to the point of denying information from the external world that does not fit what we have experienced; (2) Deny any internal truth and live according to what the external world directs; (3) Keep the internal truth separate from the external truth and live within literal standing between two worlds; (4) Modify and evolve our truth neither denying the truth within our being nor the truth of the external world but merge the understanding into a wholeness and living in that wholeness. In modifying and evolving our truth, we can experience a shared reality where we all live to a common set of "rules" to which we are held in some agreed upon way. Each of us will experience living each of these four ways to one degree or another. Each of us of course live somewhere between these extremes and a mixture of all four. However, most of us share another’s reality. Normally it is the reality of our early care givers and/or our society. We share it until we can claim our birthright and learn to consciously create our own and the share that reality with others. We each are an independent, individualized consciousness who creates a world unto themselves. As individuated consciousness we can mold ourselves into whomever or whatever we desire and share a particular reality with another or other individuated consciousnesses. We can share realities and experiences but nevertheless, we each are a world unto ourselves. In realizing this, we can realize there is the world of the other, whomever that other may be, and it may or may not look like anything in our world. But, we can share a reality through a common set of rules. Sharing a perception is not necessary what is meant by a shared reality. By referring to a shared reality we mean it is where we all live to a common set of "rules" to which we are held in some way. The key to a shared reality is sharing and live to a common set of rule. If we do not share and live by the same common set of rule, we will be sharing a reality but it will not be a shared reality. A shared reality may or may not be experienced as a creation within a creation. It needs to be understood that the reality we normally experience is not the true reality of our experience. What we normally experience is the reality we created within our mind and what we think and believe. Then, in some way, we come to an agreement with others as to what reality is and act on that shared common set of beliefs. We will then modify what we think and believe based on the experiences we have had and whether or not what we believe is effective in our life to get us what we desire. Although we share a common perception this is not a share reality.. Given the fact that each of us are an independent and individualized consciousness, a shared reality can be seen as a symphony where each of us play our own instrument making music in agreement with the others in the symphony. In this way, there is a harmony in what we do. But to play in harmony, we all need to play by the same basic rules. In some ways any shared reality it is like being in a sandbox. In essence we put ourselves in a common sandbox where each agrees to play by the same rules. In a sandbox we choose to create with sand rather than wood, mud, ice or some other starting material. Being in the sandbox, we have to build what we desire using the rules that govern sand. The rules of wood, mud and ice are not applicable to sand. We may be able to bring wood, mud or ice into the sand box, but the essential rule of sand govern what we can build. How the rules are enforced depends on the shared reality. If the shared reality is a creation within a creation then there will be some way to hold us accountable to the rule as to not greatly perturb the host creation. The typical way is to use some type and kind of vehicle for the experience such that we limit our creative ability and creative power to comply with the rules. That is, each visiting consciousness uses some type and kind of vehicle which "hard wires" or solidifies the same basic ground rules for creation for each participant. We can step outside the rules of the guest or host creation as long as we do so from within the vehicle chosen for the experience. It is the perfect way to allow many infinitely creative beings to create together and ensures every says within the same creative rules. Although we may not like sand as a building material and it is difficult with which to work, we nevertheless need to follow the rule of sand if we are going to build out of sand. If we are going to use something other than sand in the sandbox, we are changing the rules and the way that we will be able to build in the sandbox. Although we can introduce new materials into the sand box, we may need to get all the other people in the sandbox to agree with what we do. Otherwise, disagreements could arise. What those disagreements mean and what they look like depends on the situation at hand. Common shared realities is the basis of all traditions, all families, all societies. However, rather than common shared realities being truly common they are copied realities. A true common shared reality is that which can be agreed upon by all and shared in common. Most common shared realities give the impression of such commonality when in fact many member must deny their reality and internal truth to satisfy the "common" reality. Our problem is we individually think that what is common or shared is the way reality works (and is not always true) and corresponds to the thinking we need to adopt. At least that is what society and our families tell us. Few recognize that true commonality is that which is internally true within all. If what is common does not allows us to freely accept what is within our being without denying it in any way and help us to figure out some way to share it, that which we are perceiving as common is not true and it is an illusion. True commonality does exists. It exists when all can agree on something and it works the way we agree wherever we are For example the principles of physics, chemistry and engineering are common truths for they work in a similar way no matter where we are, whether it be in any society in Asia, America, or on any continent or on the moon and the far reaches of space (at least as far as we know.) We all seek some type of assurance and most look to some external reference to know who we are. We need external reference to understand "I am" and that "I am this.... but I am not that....." But we must be willing to face the unknown with or without confirmation to explore and come to know our inner world. We may not have the readily available external refection to know our internal truth is true and it may be that no external reflection exist because we are living an illusion in our internal world. We must have the courage to go into the infinite unknown alone and only we can explore our inner unknown world and find out what is there. Each individualized consciousness is an independent reality. Unless there is a common experience or a common method of communications, one individualized consciousness cannot share who and what it is with any other rather than creating a way to communicate. Most of the individuals within our lives have a sufficient number of common physical experiences that we use to both communicate and define ourselves. When we have shared experiences we tend to start thinking alike and that make it easier to communicate. Hence we tend to think the physical is real for that is what is common and can be shared. Yet the non physical internal world is just as real but we don’t always have the means to communicate what we experience and what we know from those experiences.. We tend to define ourselves by those with whom we share those experiences and we define our selves as "human" and the physical existence as our true state of being. That is, we see ourselves as physical being having spiritual experiences. Yet all the mystics keep telling us we are more than physical being. The say we are spiritual beings having a physical experience. But for some reason few individuals other than the mystics themselves, or people who have had near death experiences or natural or induced out of body experiences seem to have the experiences that confirms this nonphysical aspect of our being. The nonphysical experience seems to be a rare commodity and not something we each routinely have in our set of experiences to use to believe that "being human" is not our natural state of existence. The essence of the problem is that even if two individualized consciousness sharing the exact same experience that does not mean each sees and perceive it the same way. We each perceive based on the experiences we have had and the uniqueness of our being. The more experiences we have in common the more we can perceive the same way. It has taken humanity centuries of shared experiences to develop effective methods of communication through language and it has taken additional centuries to come to a common understanding of how some aspects of our shared reality of Physical Creation function. And there is still a tremendous amount of information to discover. So it will not be surprising if it takes centuries for human to come to a common understanding of our shared nonphysical reality works. In many way the nonphysical reality is our last frontier. It is our last unexplored world. However, it doesn’t have to take centuries. We can create a common understanding at a much faster pace if we want to do so. So too with our own being. It will, and does, take lifetimes to fully understand who and what we are and it will take lifetimes for us to figure out how to communicate to others what we have come to know and understand. If we allowed ourselves to synthesize our understanding we may be very surprised to find out what we really know. We also may come to find if we synthesize our understanding and are willing to share the realty we have synthesized we too can greatly accelerate our understanding of who and what we are. Communicating and copying realities (Top) We live with the illusion we understand ourselves and that we can or have learned to effectively communicate what we know and have experienced. However, if we look carefully, we will find we know little about who and what we really are and usually communicate only what we have shared in common or in a common environment rather than what we have uniquely experienced. To effectively communicate and share our reality and that of another, we will have to synthesize our experiences and then create a set of common experiences that we can use as the starting point of communication. Then, we can build out from those common experiences realizing, of course, we need to do that with each individual we meet if we are truly going to share realities for each individual is different. Otherwise we share the common reality of earth and neither individual reveals who and what they are and we does not learn who and what the other really is. Rather than learning to communicate our reality, it is possible to "copy" another individuals reality. It is done simply by focusing our attention and awareness on that individual with unwavering faith, love and trust. This is the process of how children copy their care givers and role models in life. It is the essence of the guru-disciple relationship of which a master- apprentice relationship is a weaker form of the same. This is the essence of the child-parent relationship and repeated in the guru-disciple relationship and is how a tradition get passed on from master to disciple. It is how family traditions and cultural biases get passed on from parent to child. In the same way, the child become the parent, the disciple become the master. Both the child and disciple copy the object of their focus. The child or disciples molds their energy consciousness into the form of the parent/master. We say the master-apprentice relationship is a weak form of this process because in the guru-disciple relationship the conscious intention of the disciple is to become the guru in all ways. In the master-apprentice relationship, the conscious intention is to become the master in a particular area of life as opposed to becoming master in all ways as with the guru. Yet it all works the same way. We copy. Coping is one of the fastest ways we develop patterns of life that do not serve our truth. Here it does need to be noted, we all continue to copy the pattern of others throughout our life. If we are going to share our reality and/or come to know the truth of our reality, we have to live our truth. The way we live life and experience any creation/Creation is the way we will share, or do not share our reality. As stated above, there are four ways in which we do this. Most of us prefer one over the other but will use all four from time to time to differing degrees.
