The fourth reason to meditate from the creativity perspective is
that meditation is actually an important half of the creation
process. From the viewpoint of creation and manifesting a creation,
meditation is one half of the creation process . It will always be
incomplete unless we understands the intention behind the purpose of
our meditation. Not the reason we give for meditation like one of
the variety of reasons listed in the discussion, “Variety
of Reasons to Meditate.” Rather, we need to become aware of the
desire/intention which lies behind the reason for choosing
meditation. It is about continually
pulling the string to get to that root desire we carry that is
expressing itself in the chose to meditate. It is at this root level
where we being to create the experiences we have. Until we access
this level we will be unable to get conscious control over what we
create. Otherwise we will be responding to life rather than learning
to proactively create our life..
We needs to understand we can have a conscious and subconscious
intentions. If we study the creation process and manifesting an
intention, we will see that meditation is the mental portion, or
masculine aspect of manifesting an intention. It is the conscious
focusing and thrusting of one’s attention and awareness in the
direction of the intention that one sets.
The other half of the intention process is the feminine aspect of
manifesting an intention. The feminine aspect is the holding and
nurturing of the intention and the surrender to the flow of energy
within our being which arises in response to the intention one
chooses to manifest. The feminine aspect is the more difficult
aspect to achieve when manifesting any intention for it requires
surrender and letting go of expectations, thoughts, and desire, as
to how the universe will work to manifest the chosen intention and
how the manifestation will look and feel in one’s life. Because
meditation is so integrally linked to the creation process our the
intention behind the purpose of the meditation is actually the end
goal of the creation process in which we are engaging. One should
become very clear as to why they are meditating and what they seek.
What lies at the root level of what is causing them to seek is what
they are creating.
For example, if we meditate to be free of
pain, we can create such a state (free of pain). But it is a
state where the cause of the pain still exists but we isolated
ourselves from it for we have not necessarily access the cause. If
we explored the nature of our pain, and come to understand the pain,
we could then create a state of being without pain for we removed
that cause at its source rather than creating an illusionary state
where we are only appear to be removed from the pain. Most, if not
all of us, carry some pain from life subconsciously. Frequently how
we learned to suppress or avoided this pain early in life. These
response patterns are what blocks the ability we need to create what
we desire. Meditation is one of the ways we can
pull the string on the desires we have to access the root of
that desire. In doing so, we can begin become creatively proactive
in our life.
